On 22 September, a group with the DAAD Go-East Summer School was guided by Mark Keck-Szajbel through the so-called Tree Country Triangle. Over the course of the excursion, which led through Germany, Poland, and the Czech Republic, students learned about the recent history of open borders after World War II, during communism, and in the European Union.
