Dr. Oksana Pashko is a literary scholar specializing in modern Ukrainian literature, Ukrainian-French and Ukrainian-Russian literary relations. She graduated from Taras Shevchenko National University in Kyiv and obtained her Ph.D. in philology at the Taras Shevchenko Institute of Literature in 2015. Since then she teaches literary theory, sociology of literature and Ukrainian literature at the National University “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy”. She also worked as an academic and literary editor of the publishing house “Dukh i Litera” in Kyiv.

In 2022 she was awarded a scholarship of the Philipp Schwartz Initiative of the Alexander-von-Humboldt Foundation for the research project “Specifics of the Literary Process in Ukraine, mid-nineteenth – mid-twentieth centuries. The Perspective of Literary Sociology”.
