VCPU publication series Interdisciplinary Polish and Ukrainian Studies at Harrassowitz Verlag
The Interdisciplinary Polish Studies (IPS) series has been expanded to include Ukrainian studies and is now called Interdisciplinary Polish and Ukrainian Studies (IPUS). The editors are the directors of the Viadrina Center of Polish and Ukrainian Studies, Dagmara Jajeśniak-Quast and Andrii Portnov. They are supported by the newly appointed Academic Advisory Board of the VCPU: Rory Finnin (University of Cambridge), Teresa Gardocka (Uniwersytet SWPS, Warsaw), Natalia Khanenko-Friesen (University of Alberta), Brian Porter-Szűcs (University of Michigan), Magdalena Saryusz-Wolska (German Historical Institute, Warsaw) and Yaroslav Prytula (Ukrainian Catholic University, Lviv).
Since the in-house publication series was founded in 2014, 13 volumes have already been published, which are available in printed form as well as in immediate Open Access. Two further volumes will follow this year. "The further development of our series by the renowned academic publisher Harrassowitz is an important building block for strengthening Ukrainian studies in Germany," emphasises Prof. Portnov, one of the two editors.
